Pro Kart Pitbike Images The photos are here but bad weather on December 23rd resulted in a pretty small turnout for the pit bikes at Pro Kart. Racing will resume Sunday nights on January 6th. Lots of fun & it takes a new level of riding your pit bike with classes for 50cc & 110 machines broken down to A and B rider levels. You'll have fun! --Gregg

8/26 Little Falls Race Photos With a short week coming up, I started my day Sunday morning at 5:00 am and just finishd the images from Little Falls on Monday at 4:00 am. I'm actually going to take Friday and Monday off to enjoy Labor Day Weekend! The changes at Little Falls were great for taking photos and I hope you enjoy looking at them. If you are going to Kellogg for Labor Day weekend, just stay out of my way in the pit bike races. I'm pretty mean out on the track when I'm getting lapped! -Gregg

D23 Banquet Photos The photos from the 2006 District 23 Banquet are ready. The room at the Mayo Civic Center was a nice place and I even enjoyed the food! Final Race from Kellogg on 10/8/06 The D23 outdoor season is over after taking around 24,000 photos and finishing at Kellogg. The Millville and District 23 Banquets are still coming up for outdoor stuff and then indoor racing at Staples, Arenacross and maybe some WSA Snocross to end 2006 racing photography. It's been a really fun season for me and I'll have more end of year news coming soon...

Last Call for 2007 Calendars If you would like a 2007 calendar made with 2006 photos, let me know as soon as possible so I'm sure to have 14 good shots. Calendars are made on double-sided heavy glossy paper, spiral bound and make for a perfect Christmas gift (even to yourself!).
July 30th Weekend I took off my first weekend in about 3 years from shooting race photos. I spent my weekend sorting 2006 shots from Arpil through June. I'm now down to sorting the July races and I'll be able to answer emails asking "do you have a shot of me?" Give me till the end of the week and I'll have the rest sorted. June 11th Photos from Mazeppa Even with all of the rain in Southern Minnesota, the track held up great for weekend racing at Mazeppa. The photos are ready although some of them may look a bit odd after I tried a new program to develop them into web files. Prints will come out great but the JPG files on the web page leave a bit to be desired. Oh well, live and learn I guess. I'll develop the photos for the Hurricane Hills web page the old way.

May 14th Mora Mud Photos Another day of mud photos, this time from Mora. The track was actually in pretty decent shape by the end of the day, but with so much mud from the morning there was only one set of motos. Everything takes longer in the mud including me just moving from one spot to another!

April 30th Mud Racing at Mazeppa! The Mazeppa mud racing photos are ready. I left them in the aspect ratio straight out of the camera since they aren't sorted by brand or size. If you would like a print, send me an email and I can let you know how your print would come out. With so much water on my lens, some of the shots may be too soft but others would be just right in print form.

MN Racing Pre-printed Motocross Graphics I've added information for riders interested in having custom pre printed motocross number plates made for the 2006 racing season.  The numberplates I've made so far have come out pretty nice & preprinted is probably a lower cost than buying a background & adding numbers over the top.  References available with discounted prices for District 23 riders through the end April. --Gregg

2006 Print Prices Print supply costs have been going down so I've adjusted my 2006 prices accordingly. Unfortunately, my poster cost went up by 1/3rd so I've removed them for the time being. District 23 Banquet Photos Posted The banquet images are ready but the room I used to take the championship class photos wasn't available early in the day. C & B classes that are missing as a group aren't in the collection. Sorry about that. 9/12/05 - I'm happy to say that I finally caught up with all of the racing photos from Kellogg and they are posted. My new Canon 1D Mark II rules. Although the small thumbnail images may not look that great, the color and sharpness of the full size photos are so good that a monkey could have taken them.

If anyone has a monkey they would like to sell, just let me know so I can sit and watch the races on the sideline. I'll pay extra for a monkey that can build these web pages every week too! --Gregg

Jeremy Penman, Mike Moores, Jason Boche, Mark Bartelds, myself and others will be falling down at a record pace so bring your video camera! --Gregg

8/19/04 - With only about a month and a half left in the 2004 racing season, I thought I would remind people to let me know if you would like a 2005 personal rider calendar made. I need to have 13 good shots of the rider to make all 12 months plus the cover. It might not be too late yet, but it's getting close. The calendars are glossy on both sides of each month and are spiral bound. They will make great Christmas presents so let me know as soon as possible if you might like one made. -Gregg

8/9/04 - I started my day at 9:00 am on Sunday and ended it around 3:00 am on Monday. About 150 of the 550 photos I shot at Mora on 8/8 are ready. 8/4/04 - Once again I was able to get a shot from every class on the PW track. This time at Millville on 8/1. I haven't been over to the micro track too much this year at Spring Creek because it's sorta' a long walk. But with my new 1971 Suzuki Trailhopper 50 I might get over there more often! I'll just need to check with John and Greta to see if it's okay for me to ride it over next race day. Big track photos coming soon...

I was planning on being at Little Falls on August 1st, but since I'll be at Kellogg for the Vintage race on Saturday, it would be pretty hard to make it all the way to Little Falls for Sunday. 7/7/04 - Here are a few shots from Saturday practice at Mazeppa over the July 4th weekend. The photos include mudsliding, the live band and the first backflip i've seen at a D23 track!

6/20/04 - Heh, I had so much fun taking photos in the sun at Mora that I've already finished the web page from today (6/20). Great track, great racing and finally two weekends in a row with great weather. Kurt and the staff have done a nice job to make the track a bit more "photogenic" and I hope you like browsing through the shots. 5/27/04 - Trevor John had a bad crash in the 250 A race at Cambridge last Sunday. He is in North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale on Hwy 100 just south of 694. Be sure to send him a card or stop by if you can. I'm sure it would lift his spirits to hear from you.
